GYPSY’S WOLF
Quad McDaniel’s life changed forever the night he was attacked by a wolf. Now, he turns furry every full moon. Avoiding red meat and anything that makes him aggressive is his prime goal in life. But when his convertible breaks down in some Podunk town, becoming the beast within is no longer a choice. It’s instinctive.
Gypsy Govanivinch just wants to live a quiet life in Trinity Valley, running his roadhouse tavern. He doesn’t need an overly aggressive shifter coming into his town and messing with his peaceful little world, no matter how gorgeous the man looked.
Life never asked Quad or Gypsy what they wanted. It simply gave them what they needed, whether they agreed or not. Fate brought them together but it’s up to Quad and Gypsy to stay alive long enough to appreciate what they’ve been given. And when others work to prevent that, fighting together might be the only chance they have of surviving.

STORY EXCERPT
Quad McDaniel threw his cell phone into the passenger seat and banged his head repeatedly against the steering wheel of his black Mercedes SL600 Roadster convertible. He couldn’t believe that his brand new car had broken down. He had just bought the damn thing two days ago.
So much for the perfect car!
And now his cell phone wouldn’t get any reception. Could his day get any worse?
He climbed from his car, slamming the door closed hard behind him in frustration. Looking around, he couldn’t see much in the dark, except for some glowing lights off in the distance. Resigned to his fate, Quad locked the car door and began walking toward the light.
When he reached the parking lot, he gazed up at the tavern sign…GG’s Roadhouse. Well, damn, he was in redneck hell. The multitude of pickup trucks and motorcycles in the gravel parking lot should have told him this.
He heard loud music spill into the parking lot when a man dressed in tight jeans and a sleeveless flannel shirt walked outside. Quad knew his day wasn’t going to get any better when he watched the guy climb into his souped-up truck. He could only pray that there was a pay phone inside.
Like those exist anymore.
He walked into the two-story roadhouse, stopping briefly right inside the doorway to look around the interior. He was actually surprised at how nice the place seemed. The first floor of the large room seemed to be broken into different sections. To the right of him was a large wooden bar that ran almost the entire length of the east wall with several intimate tables near the far end.
Directly in front of him was a large wooden dance floor that went all the way to the far wall. The ceiling directly above the dance floor was two stories high with a wooden beamed ceiling and a large mirror that went from the first floor to the balcony on the second floor. To the front right corner of the dance floor was a DJ booth and karaoke setup. He could see several people dancing on the dance floor to the loud beat of the southern rock music playing.
Looking toward the second floor, he could see that it was in the shape of a square with the balcony overlooking the dance floor in the middle. There were also several tables and booths on the second floor, as well as pool tables. A few of those tables were being used by bikers and rednecks.
On each side of the dance floor on the back wall was a set of double doors leading out onto a wooden deck overlooking a clear blue lake. The second floor had double doors that he assumed led out to a balcony covering the deck.
Looking up the wide, wooden stairway to the left of the bar, he could see that directly above him must be the management offices, and below them, the restrooms. Just beyond the bathrooms, he could hear sounds coming from what he assumed was a working kitchen.
All in all, it was a pretty sweet setup. If this place were in his neighborhood, it would be an upper class restaurant. He could envision it with upscale clientele, waiters dressed in white shirts and ties, and a top class chef. It would make a lot of money. Too bad it was in the middle of nowhere, filled with rednecks and leather-clad bikers.
Quad strode toward the bar and took a seat at one of the vacant bar stools. He lifted his hand to signal the bartender and lost his train of thought. The sexiest man he'd ever laid eyes on stood at the other end of the bar.
He couldn’t have been more than five foot six and maybe a whopping one hundred and forty-five pounds. The stranger wasn’t a skinny bean poll like most of the twinks Quad knew. In fact, as far as he could tell, the bartender had lean muscle in all the right places. The man also had a seductive, wild beauty about him that called deeply to the primal alpha male in Quad.
Wisps of tendrils escaped the silken mass of long, braided snow-white hair and caressed the sides of his perfect high cheekbones. There was both a delicacy and a strength in his face. Pale green eyes were ringed by black lashes. His lips were full and rounded over even, white teeth, and smooth skin glowed with golden undertones.
Shapely thighs and a firm ass tapered into long straight legs. The man’s tight, faded blue jeans rode low on his hips. A ribbed, black tank top barely covered him from his collarbone down to just above his bellybutton. A thick, studded, black belt drew Quad’s attention to the man’s tight, flat muscular abdomen.
Quad’s tongue almost fell out of his mouth when he spotted the little piercing in the twink’s bellybutton, which was encircled with a sunburst type tattoo. Oh, man, would he love to nibble on that.
A Celtic tattoo encircled one of the man’s smooth, left arms. That made two tattoos that Quad could see. He wondered how many more the gorgeous little man had. He would give almost anything to go on a treasure hunt and find each and every one.
“What’ll it be, honey?” Mr. Sexy asked with a silky, southern accent. His voice alone could mesmerize Quad. It was sexy and smooth, like aged whiskey. He could listen to him talk all day long. Quad wondered briefly if the man would sound the same during sex.
“Hey, honey, you just going to stare at me all day, or you gonna order something?”
Quad just stared. He didn’t even blink when the little twink waved a hand in front of his face. He was too busy envisioning what he wanted to do to the man on any available flat surface.
 “Honey, you okay?”

ADULT EXCERPT
“You smell tasty,” Quad groaned.
The smell alone affected his body. Quad’s cock was hard, pressing against his jeans. Moving his hips, he rocked against Gypsy, and the beautiful elf shivered as their erections touched. He preferred Gypsy like this—soft and pliant. Quad didn’t like sparring with the other man with his tongue. No, Quad had much better things he could think to do with his mouth then argue back and forth with the elf.
Quad slowly leaned his head forward. He gave Gypsy plenty of time to either turn his head or tell Quad to fuck off. When Gypsy merely moistened his lips, Quad took that as a sign. He pressed his lips against Gypsy’s. A jolt of electricity ran through his system and he stiffened. He’d never felt something so powerful.
The kiss started out slowly, a gentle exploration, as they both opened their mouths and their tongues touched, dancing. It didn’t take long before the kiss became frantic and wild. Quad ran his hands down Gypsy’s arms, touching the soft flesh. It was unlike anything he’d ever felt before—smooth, hard granite. No other man possessed skin as supple as the elf. Quad ran his hands under Gypsy’s shirt, outlining the hard plane of muscles with his fingertips.
Gypsy turned his head, disconnecting their lips. “I don’t want slow, wolf.”
Quad smiled wickedly. If the elf wanted hard and rough, he was more than willing to oblige. Quad grabbed the collar of Gypsy’s shirt and tore the material from the man’s body.
“That’s one thing I love about being supernatural.” Gypsy’s eyes gleamed.
“What’s that?”
“We can be as rough as we want.” Gypsy grabbed hold of Quad’s shirt. He mimicked Quad’s action, ripping his T-shirt wide open. It proved how strong Gypsy truly was. He might not be carrying a lot of muscle, but that didn’t mean anything. “Don’t hold back, wolf. I’m not some delicate little human.” He ran his hands up Quad’s chest before tweaking his nipples.
“Fuck,” Quad breathed out.
He really liked this side of Gypsy.
Quad cupped Gypsy’s face with his hands and connected their lips. He needed to taste Gypsy. The sweet scent filled his head, making him drunk, and he wanted to taste it on his tongue. Gypsy wrapped his arms around Quad’s waist as he melted into him, their bodies connecting. The sleek skin of Gypsy’s chest felt cool against his hot skin, chilling the fire that ran through Quad’s veins.
Quad growled when Gypsy’s tongue met his, swirling. Quad moved one hand to the back of Gypsy’s head, holding the man in place while he fucked his mouth with his tongue. He dropped his other hand to Gypsy’s ass, and gripped one cheek. He pulled Gypsy closer and moved Gypsy’s body back and forth, rubbing their cocks together. Gypsy moaned into Quad’s mouth. He started moving his hips without Quad’s assistance.
Quad knew the kiss could go on and on. Already, he felt addicted to Gypsy’s talented tongue. As the minutes ticked by, Quad knew it was only a matter of time before he came in his pants. The only place he wanted to come was with his shaft buried deep inside the elf’s ass.
He forced himself to pull back. Quad kissed Gypsy’s jaw. He planted open-mouthed kisses down the man’s chest as he slowly dropped to his knees before the beautiful elf. He ran his hands up and down Gypsy’s chest, touching and caressing as he continued to kiss every square inch of skin he could reach. There were so many things he wanted to do to Gypsy. He just hoped there was enough time.
Quad gripped the elastic band of Gypsy’s pajama pants and pulled the material down his legs. Gypsy’s hard cock pointed straight at Quad’s mouth. Licking his lips, Quad gripped Gypsy’s waist, holding the man steady. He stuck his tongue out and licked the bead of pre-cum glistening on the tip of Gypsy’s dick.
“Good lord,” Gypsy whispered.
“Mmm…” The taste of Gypsy exploded on his tongue and Quad knew he needed more, so much more. “I want to feel you wrapped tight around my cock, baby.” He didn’t know where the endearment came from, but it felt right to say. Quad wrapped his palm around Gypsy’s cock and the sweet elf bucked his hips, fucking his hand. “Bed,” he growled.
He didn’t want to get started yet. He preferred to lay Gypsy down before devouring the man. He wanted to spread Gypsy out on the mattress.
“Come here.” Quad led Gypsy to the bed. He laid the man down. He stared at Gypsy, letting his eyes wonder as he drank the man in, memorizing each curve. “You’re beautiful.”
“Thank you.” Gypsy smiled, as his cheeks pinkened.
Quad removed the rest of his clothes before joining his soon-to-be lover on the bed. He’d prolonged things long enough. Situating himself between Gypsy’s legs, Quad wrapped his hand around the base of his shaft and his mouth around the tip.
“Fuck!” Gypsy shouted.
Quad swirled his tongue around the girth of Gypsy’s shaft as he lowered his head, swallowing the man’s cock down his throat.
“Ah…ah…ah…” Erotic sounds spilled from Gypsy’s lips spurring Quad on
Quad swallowed repeatedly, tightening his throat muscles. He bobbed his head, taking the entire length into his mouth. Gypsy shoved his fingers through Quad’s hair. He tightened his fist, holding the strands as he started moving his hips, fucking Quad’s mouth. Quad opened wide, allowing Gypsy to do whatever he wanted. The elf’s entire form was shaking, and Quad knew he was getting close. He could easily recognize the signs
Gypsy’s breathing changed. “I’m gonna…” that was the only warning he received before Gypsy came, shooting warm jets of cum across Quad’s tongue and down his throat.
Slowly pulling back, Quad licked and kissed Gypsy’s shaft. He lifted his eyes and stared at the elf. With his mouth open and cheeks flushed, Gypsy was incredibly beautiful. It was an image Quad wouldn’t soon forget
“I want you to fuck me.” Gypsy said as he started to turn over onto his hands and knees. “The lube is in the bedside table.
“You’re a demanding little thing, aren’t you?” Quad teased
“I know what I want.” Gypsy looked over his shoulder. “And I want your big dick in my ass.”

UNEXPECTED ALPHA by Amber Kell

So, I just found out that one of my favorite books by Amber Kell is not only a great read but the proceeds are going to a great cause. Unexpected Alpha is a charity book of Amber’s where all of the proceeds go to the Autism Society of Washington. As a mother of a child on the spectrum this cause is dear to her heart. Unexpected Alpha is currently available at all the usual ebook retailers.

UNEXPECTED ALPHA
Available Now!
Stanley didn’t expect his life to change when he went jogging one night. Barely surviving a dog attack he woke in a strange bed with odd urges. He didn’t mind the sexy man hovering over him. In fact if Fen wished to join him in bed he’d have no objections.
Fenris wanted the alpha at his first growl. The sexy man’s commanding air and sweet smile were a combination out of Fen’s hottest dreams. Unfortunately family issues and outside forces tried to push the lovers apart and keep them from their happily ever after.
Faced with opposition Stanley did the only thing he could. He let everyone know that the new alpha on the block wouldn’t accept anyone getting between him and his man.

Excerpt:
If Stanley Brown had known what kind of day it would turn out to be, he would’ve stayed in bed. No two ways about it. In bed with the door locked, the curtains drawn, and maybe a giant boulder in front of the entrance to his apartment building, like the ones in cartoons.
He definitely wouldn’t have gone running in the park.
Idiot.
But how was he to know something he did on an almost nightly basis would turn disastrous?
Not a lot of people visited the park at night. Technically, it closed at dusk, but Stanley considered the opening times posted as more of a guideline rather than a hard fast rule, and had discovered many fellow joggers with the same opinion. Except tonight none of his other running rebel friends were around to keep him company. Shrugging off the slight shiver tickling down his spine, Stanley continued on his routine path. He had no reason to find that night any scarier than other nights. In fact, the full moon brightened up the park far better than the pathetic glow from the dim streetlights a block away.
Hitting his stride, Stanley followed the familiar curved gravel path. The apartment key he kept on a chain around his neck and under his shirt. The small bit of metal tapped a calming rhythm against his chest with each step. A dog growled behind him. Damn, some moron had let his pet off leash again. He hated dog owners who thought the idea of a good time was to take their barely tamed animal to the park and let them run free. Those kinds of people tended to be mindless idiots who never worried about their beasts mauling some poor kid playing in the grassy field as long as Fido didn’t have to be oppressed by the leash laws.
Still running, Stanley reached into his jacket pocket and wrapped his fingers around the container of pepper spray he kept tucked inside. He might like to run amongst the trees, but this city boy never traveled without some sort of protection. He blamed the owners, not the mutts for their misbehavior, sadly it was the animals that got sprayed. Dousing the owners would’ve been much more satisfying.
The growling became louder. Maybe running away from the snarling dog had unleashed the animal’s hunting instinct. Well fuck, he wasn’t going to stop now.
Fumbling to pull the canister out, it caught on the inside mesh of his jacket pocket. A loud howl filled the air, closer this time. Before he could react, thick claws stabbed into Stanley’s back like sharp razors easily slicing through his thin nylon clothing.
Screaming, he fell face first onto the ground. Fear accelerated his heartbeat, hammering a staccato rhythm against his chest. He rolled over, still trying to pull the pepper spray out of his pocket. Stanley kicked at the creature, then pushed off with his feet and rolled away from his attacker. The dog, wolf, thing turned toward him, saliva dripping from its long snout.
What the hell is that? A feral dog? A runaway lab animal?
If he believed in monster movies, this would’ve been the perfect set up. His thoughts jabbering away in his mind, Stanley continued to yank at the pepper spray. Finally, the canister pulled free. With shaking hands, he lined up the nozzle and pointed it at the shaggy, snarling creature.
“Take that, you fucker!” Stanley stumbled to his feet and sprayed the large animal. If he found the beast’s owner, he’d sue the bastard for terrifying the crap out of him. Before he could douse the beast a second time, it jumped at Stanley and scratched the hell out of his arm. Unprepared for a second attack, Stanley tumbled to the ground. He let out a gurgling cry as the beast lunged and clamped onto Stanley’s throat with its massive teeth. Like a set of Ginsu knives, the beast’s sharp canines ripped through Stanley’s flesh. His vision dimmed from lack of blood as it splashed a warm river across his throat. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, not daring to buck off the beast gnawing at his throat. Thoughts of his parents’ sorrow when they heard of his death renewed Stanley’s fading determination.
Flinging out his hand, Stanley scrabbled to grab hold of anything. A piece of branch filled his palm, the wood scraping his flesh. Desperate for any bit of help, Stanley clutched the small branch. With his last surge of strength, he brought the stake up between them and stabbed the beast through its chest. Blood coated Stanley’s arm, its sticky essence soaking his shirt in a hot, crimson river. He turned his head when the first flow tried to get into his mouth. Spitting out the acrid taste spilling across his tongue, he still couldn’t quite clear his mouth of the flavor.

FINISHED & SUBMITTED: To Take A King

TO TAKE A KING

Coming June 4th
Elves are from Venus, wolf shifters from Mars. Vampires come from Saturn, humans live on Earth... and one man is king of them all...he just doesn't know it yet.
Nicolas Callon had no idea that his life was going to change the day he turned twenty five. He had simply been hoping to spend a little time with his best friend and secret crush Cooper Walsh. But nothing turns out like he had hoped. From interfering ex-girlfriends to aliens from outer-space, Nicky’s day just goes to hell.
The one bright spot is Cooper, and the passionate interlude they share mere moments before Nicky’s life turns upside down. As he whisked away to parts unknown, it might be all Nicky has to keep himself sane because being told he’s king of the galaxy pales in comparison to watching the man he loves get shot before his very eyes.
If Nicky can find a way back to earth, he might have a chance of making his birthday wish come true. If not, then everything he has gained as king will be meaningless.

STORY EXCERPT
“Well, fuck a duck.” Nicolas Callon glanced down to see what had tripped him.
Nothing.
Nada.
Not a damn thing.
Rolling his eyes, Nicky turned and continued walking around the outdoor tables of the seaside café. This wouldn’t be the first time he had tripped, and it most certainly wouldn’t be the last. If there was something for Nicky to trip over, or nothing at all, he tripped. He was a certified klutz.
He was just glad the bottled waters he carried hadn't been opened. More times than he cared to remember, he had ended up tossing his drinks all over whoever was around him when he stumbled.
Nicky's gaze darted to where his best friend sat as the jazz music played softly in the background. They were sitting outdoors of the café, but Nicky had had to go inside for the water. It wasn't quiet summer yet and a gentle breeze blew off the mountains to stir strands of his hair. He tucked them behind his ear as he stopped at their table.
“Here you go, Coop.” He held one of the bottles out to his best friend—and the man he secretly dreamed of every second of every day. Cooper smiled up at him as he took the bottle, the deep dimples on either side of his face surfacing.
And that right there would be why Nicky lived and breathed for Cooper Walsh.
He was the most gorgeous creature ever created. Taller than the average man by more than a few inches, Cooper was the epitome of masculinity. From his wide shoulders and broad chest to his thick thighs and long legs, Cooper was every gay man’s wet dream in one big bear of a package.
His raven black hair curled around his face as if trying to caress his golden skin. His copper eyes twinkled when he laughed. And his lips…oh, Nicky had fantasies about those plush lips, and all of them involved the two of them being buck ass naked.
Unfortunately they would never be more than fantasies.
Nicky sighed as he took a seat next to his friend and he unscrewed the cap on his water. He took a long sip, never taking his eyes off of Coop as the guy talked to a few of their friends.
Cooper Walsh was the greatest friend anyone could ever ask for. He had taken Nicky under his wing after defending him in the sandbox when they were five years old, and had been defending Nicky ever since. Cooper was also a compassionate friend who never batted an eye when Nicky cascaded through his turbulent and sometimes erratic emotions.
But friendship only went so far and the buxom blond on the other side of Cooper was proof enough that the man was most decidedly not gay. One fateful kiss when they’d both had way too much to drink—a kiss that Cooper quickly put an end to—did not make the man gay. And that meant that Nicky could dream until his balls turned blue and shriveled up but it wouldn’t get him any closer to living out a single one of his fantasies.
Cooper waved a hand in front of Nicky's face. “So, what do you think?”
“Huh?” Nicky blinked rapidly, his eyes darting around to find all eyes on him. Heat suffused his face as he crossed his arms over his chest. “What?”
Cooper chuckled as he playfully bumped their shoulders together. “We thought we’d head on down to the lake and go swimming. You game?”
Nicky glanced at the blond bimbo hanging onto Cooper as if he’d escape if she let go. The calculating gleam he could see in the woman’s blue eyes unnerved him. She might seem bubbly and clueless but there was something about her that set Nicky on edge.
He didn’t like her.
“No, you go on ahead. I’ve got some painting to do.” Sort of. It was true he had painting to do but he always had painting to do. That was what he did. But he could have taken the afternoon off if he really wanted to. He really did, but not with an entourage of other people.
“Ah, come on, Nicky,” Coop wheedled as his smile spread wider, “get out and smell the fresh air. I’ll bet it gives you some inspiration.”
“Oh, let him go, honey,” little miss Barbie boobs said as she pressed said boobs into Cooper’s arm until they threatened to pop right out of the top of her pink-and-white striped string bikini. How she stuffed those voluptuous breasts into a top that small was beyond Nicky, and probably most of the scientific community.
Nicky’s eyes narrowed when she trailed a finger up Cooper’s neck to the bottom of his ear before leaning in to whisper—rather loudly—“We could have a good time, just the two of us.”
The smile slid from Cooper’s face faster than Nicky could blink. “I told you when you showed up that it was Nicky’s birthday and I'd be spending the day with him. You said you understood.”
Judie took a step back, obviously feeling the heat of Cooper’s anger. It was never good when the big man became heated. “Well, I…” Judie smiled sweetly, her voice lowering to what she probably thought was a sultry tone. It wasn’t. For Nicky, it was more like fingernails down a chalkboard.  “I just thought since he wanted to go paint that we could…”
Nicky tuned her out and stood, heading toward the street when Judie began trailing her hot pink nails over the edges of Cooper’s gray tank top. There were some things a love-struck man shouldn’t have to deal with. Watching Barbie boobs fawn all over Cooper wasn’t one of the things he could stomach.
He’d rather have his balls snipped with rusty sheers.
After walking two blocks, a black truck pulled up beside him and slowed. Nicky’s lips twitched when the truck kept pace with him, which was a slow stroll. Cooper didn’t say a word as he pushed the passenger door open.
Nicky kept walking.
Cooper kept driving.
Nicky sighed as he stopped and turned, his hands landing on his hips. He waved one back behind Cooper’s truck. “You’re holding up traffic, you know.”
“No.” Copper eyes twinkled with amusement. “You are holding up traffic.”
Nicky crossed his arms. He shot a quick glance to the two cars idling behind Cooper before looking back at the gorgeous man. He eyed the empty seat then lifted an eyebrow in query. “Where’s Barbie boobs?”
Cooper's shoulders lifted and then fell. “Having cotton stuffed in her ears to stop the rapid loss of air.”
Nicky sucked in his bottom lip and bit down on it to keep from laughing. It took him a moment to regain his composure enough to talk. “Are you supposed to say something like that about your girlfriend?”
Cooper’s expression turned to a suspicious grimace as he rested both hands on the steering wheel and looked out the front window. “Judie is not my girlfriend.”
“Does she know that?”
Cooper looked Nicky right in the eyes. “She does now.”

THE BEACH HOUSE MOVIE PROJECT

The Beach House will be one of the first LGBT films focusing on gays in the military. More importantly, what happens when they return to the states, often with PTSD.

As the filmmaking team, our goal is to make an important film that sheds light on the struggles that our vets, both gay and straight, have when they return home. The Beach House will be a beautiful, engrossing and romantically charged film.
It will have a realistic budget, efficient shooting schedule and will show a love story never before seen in an LGBT film.

That said, the total minimum budget for this film is forty thousand dollars, ($40,000) Any money raised above that amount will go towards the cost of conducting this campaign and then to entering the finished film into well-known film festivals and advertising.
Michael Simon has been retained to direct The Beach House. Michael's last film, The Love Patient, which was both written and directed by him, received a global distribution deal with TLA Releasing and was shown on Here! TV. The film won TLA's Gaybie Award for Best Romance/Comedy 2012.

One of Michael's earlier projects, "Gay Zombie,” recently created a stir at Harvard University. On that, Michael has this to say: "Today is the day Gay Zombie screens in a class at Harvard University. They have now contacted me for another copy (of the movie) to be a permanent addition to the Andover Harvard Theological Library!"
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2556962/?ref_=fn_al_...

Just one reason that John, the screenwriter, has such confidence in the creativity and professionalism of Michael Simon. Michael, along with John, will also act as Producer and co-producer. We are happy to give substantial donors the title of Executive Producer.
John Simpson adapted the screenplay from his book of the same name, published by Dreamspinner Press. John has written over fifty published books and was named by Genre Magazine as one of the top 100 most influential gay people in America at the beginning of the century. John has won many accolades for his writing and even acted in a television pilot for Lion Television of New York. John is also listed in the IMdB under his full name for appearing in a documentary film on gay marriage as an early supporter of the movement. John was also featured in Vincent Cianni's documentary photo book, "Gays in the Military."

Regarding production: Michael has a knack for getting films made on time and within a limited budget. The Beach House will only shoot for nine days, which will help with costs and immerse the cast and crew in the world of our leads, Keith & Jeff. The crew will be small and tight: no giant trucks or excessive bodies. The shoot will be quick and efficient. We will soon name our Director of Photography who will be joined by his assistant, sound, lights, a production assistant or two and that’s it.
Although the budget includes scoring, mixing, mastering and color correcting, any extra money raised will make the post-production process that much easier and help us with entry to film festivals and advertising.
The cast will be no less than stunning! We have signed on Dusty Alvarado to play the role of the troubled Marine. As you can see in the video, he is a dynamic new talent who will undoubtedly deliver a star-making performance. We are fortunate to round out the cast with some serious acting chops in the co-lead Jake Ferree and supporting roles.

As for the movie itself, here's a summary that will more fully describe it!
The path of two men's lives is affected forever as their fates cross against the majestic setting of a beach house.
Keith, a financial analyst, rents a beach house for the summer to escape his recent tragedies. Aside from the loss of the man of his dreams, he has also lost his mother - his rock, his confidant. He indulges himself in a summer rental to escape all that he knows.
Jeff, a Marine Sniper, who spent two grueling tours of duty in Afghanistan, has returned home with post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD. He too is seeking a summer of solace.
As Keith plays "fetch" with Sam, his trusted canine companion, he meets the hunky and troubled vet. The two men hit it off easily and see that they are something of kindred spirits. As they spend more time together, Keith learns that Jeff's former lover from the Marines, Joe, went missing in action from his unit, and he never got the chance to say goodbye. Joe's disappearance plagues Jeff almost as much as his PTSD, and Keith acts as a very good friend and listens intently.
The attraction between the two men is palpable, but as they are both processing so much loss, the relationship between them stays platonic - for the moment.
One night, during a terrible thunderstorm, Keith answers the door to find Jeff, drenched and in a panic. Keith ushers him into the bathroom where he undresses the numbed Jeff and promptly wraps him in the comfort of warm towels. Every clap of thunder and lightning flash jars the frightened ex-marine. He asks if he can spend the night - Keith complies knowing Jeff's conditions. The two men hold each other tight as Keith respects the boundaries that Jeff has laid before them.
As the summer progresses, Jeff begins to come more and more alive, finding a mutual attraction between the two men with both of them being able to voice it. Finally, after a wild night out at a gay bar in the city, the two finally make love. They are both able to let their walls down as their lovemaking reawakens them.
Their relationship progresses further, as they go out on Jeff's boat. Jeff shows Keith an exhilarating time, speeding across the open waters. Afterward, enjoying a hot jacuzzi and a bottle of tequila, Jeff continues to reveal his story of Joe, his ex-lover, and fully explain the sexual relationship they had in the war zone. Jeff finally realizes that his need for comfort blinded him to Joe's domineering nature. Jeff is ashamed to admit how he was controlled.
In Keith, he finds a much softer, more intelligent man, who seems to genuinely care about him and not just interested in sex. The two see a possible future together as they begin to fall in love and rediscover the joy of letting another in, both emotionally and physically.
Just as their intimacy reaches a peak and they pledge to become boyfriends, a bombshell shatters their oblivion: Joe shows up at Keith's door searching for Jeff.
Jeff is shocked to his core to find himself staring into the face of Joe from Afghanistan. Joe explains that he was wounded, evacuated by helicopter and sent to Germany to fully recover. Since Joe was doing work for the CIA, all of his information was classified, making it impossible to find him once he was out of country.
Joe insists that Jeff comeback with him to Jeff's house to pick up where they had left off. Keith is crushed as Jeff is compelled to leave with Joe. Keith takes solace in Sam, his ever faithful companion, as he crumbles on the sofa and cries, regretting that he ever let his heart open again.
Once back at Jeff's, Joe does all he can to seduce him, until Jeff can no longer resist his former lover's appeal. Jeff immediately regrets the act after being once again faced with Joe's overly forceful nature. Having experienced what true love making can be, Jeff now knows that Joe is a brut.
In the morning, Jeff is finally able to stand up to Joe and orders him out declaring he has a new boyfriend and not an abusive one.
Joe leaves in anger, stopping long enough at Keith's to give him the finger. This further crushes Keith as he thinks this was Joe's victory announcement and is startled when Jeff sneaks in his back door.
The two men argue as Keith is incredulous to the fact that Jeff thinks he can go off and have sex with someone else and come back expecting him to be waiting. Jeff pleads and explains that it was a chapter that needed to be closed and he is back to stay for good, if he will have him.
As much as Keith tries to resist Jeff, his love for him is too strong and he eventually relents and forgives. The two men have found love for life. They celebrate by watching the 4th of July fireworks on the beach. Jeff is able to handle the “bangs and pops” of the fireworks, with his boyfriend and lover holding him tight.

Short Summary
This is a chance for every individual, both Veteran and Non-Veteran, to contribute to the making of a movie to bring awareness to what is often a crippling disorder suffered by returning Vets from combat zones.  PTSD effects all veterans, gay and straight. I'm John Simpson, screenwriter and co-producer. I'm a Vietnam era Veteran and I was one of the fortunate ones that did not have to actually go to Vietnam. Today's vets, are more likely than not, to have to fight in the Middle-East at some point in their service. This is a story about one of those Vets, a gay Vet, and how he tries to get his life back on track. There can never be too much exposure for this deadly disorder. The V.A. and Congress have failed miserably in treating this disorder and one of the ways to bring a greater awareness to this subject, is to make movies. This will be both a serious, but also sexy romance that takes place over the course of a summer. Be part of the journey that Jeff and Keith travel together.

What We Need & What You Get
We need a total budget of $40,000 to make this Ultra Low-Budget film. Just to film it, we need $25,000 of that budget, with the remainder going to post-production costs which are expensive. We hope to enter this movie into film festivals around the world, bringing further exposure to this issue.
This campaign seeks to raise the first part of our budget. This will get the movie "shot" and in the "can." If we raise more than the initial budget this time around, the excess money will go towards post-production costs and we'll have less to raise later. Of course any amount over $40,000 allows us to advertise more and pay to enter more festivals. Once the movie has gone through the festival circuit, we'll sign a distribution deal and the movie will go out to the public.

The Impact
The Director, Michael Simon, has successfully produced four previous films, with one of them becoming part of Harvard University's archives.

Risks & Challenges
Our biggest challenge to a successful film is raising this budget. We have chosen an outstanding cast, have a stunning set on hold, and the natural beauty of the beaches and cliffs of San Diego waiting for cast and crew. We have an experienced Director and crew, and the knowledge to handle any issue that might come up.We will be adding the picture of the fourth cast member shortly!

Other Ways You Can Help
In addition to making a contribution to the film, you can also help us spread the word about this film project among your friends and social networks. If you have a Facebook page, post the donation link on your page and help us meet out goal!

And that's all there is to it.
