5 STARS: "Stormy Glenn is one of those authors who are able to put out one good book after another. Her characters, whether they are the alpha male type or not, are able to show their softer side as well as their strong side. The love they have for each other is clear for the reader to see, making the stories just that much more compelling. A Promise Kept is no exception. The love that Jack and Mason have for each other is so strong it is amazing that they were able to hide it so well. The story is also loaded with several strong secondary characters just screaming out for their own stories. A must read for any m/m lover." -- Lydia, Rainbow Reviews

5 CUPS: "I discovered Stormy Glenn’s books by accident one night when surfing the internet. As an avid reader of m/m romance, her books looked intriguing so I purchased one and was forever hooked! I am now reading everything this author has written, and can say without a shadow of a doubt she is one of the best authors I have read. A Promise Kept is rife with emotion, true love, and danger; this story will keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved the main characters. The story itself reflects modern times and how difficult it can be for those who are gay to find true love. I highly recommend A Promise Kept and all of Stormy Glenn’s books!" -- Regina, Coffee Time Romance & More

4 ANGELS: "This was an interesting story, a bit choppy in places, but the plot and action made up for the areas where the story seemed a bit abrupt. The characters were well constructed and the sensual scenes were well written. The serial killer was certainly creepy and I got a chill every time he made an appearance. I liked both Mason and Jack, even though I wanted to yell at them for their obliviousness and stubbornness at times. I liked the secondary characters and hope to be able to delve a bit deeper into their lives in future books by Stormy Glenn." -- Hayley, Fallen Angels Reviews

"Mason Philips has been in love with his brother’s best friend, Jack Spencer, for ten years. Mason is reluctantly giving up on Jack. Pining after his brother’s straight friend is only giving him heartache. When Mason branches out on his own, he catches Carl Wallace’s eye. With the help of his new friends, Mason finally gets what he wants, but Wallace isn’t giving up Mason so easily. Misunderstandings, regrets, and harsh words spoken in anger create a soap opera-like story full of angst. Some of the sex scenes are pretty hot, especially the ménage, and the stalker is pretty creepy, which is cool. Overall, A Promise Kept has too much character-driven drama." -- Nannette, Joyfully Reviewed

"In A Promise Kept, author Stormy Glenn creates a romance filled with heartache, tension, suspense, and ultimately, happiness. Mason is a character who the reader can’t help but feel sympathy for and to cheer on to have all that he wants, which at times, it’s difficult to figure out why the one thing he wants above all others is Jack, who has moments of being simply mean to him. Jack’s actions are enough to alienate him to the reader, though, once he and Mason begin their relationship, and certainly in the final chapters, Jack does manage to redeem himself. Along with his best friend, Cooper, Mason has a group of close friends that add not only depth to the story, but also amusement as one of them is certain to say at least one entertaining thing almost every time they make an appearance. The first half of the novel is primarily Mason’s angst over Jack. The latter half deals with Mason’s stalker, and this is where the novel really takes off. Author Glenn does an excellent job in creating a creepy figure in the stalker, Wallace. So while it may start off a little slow, A Promise Kept really pays off in the end." -- Shannon Frost, TCM Reviews

"This was a fun book to read. Although Mason did tend to cry a bit more than I really like I still enjoyed him and the rest of the characters. Jack is a bit of a dominating Alpha but Mason quickly has him wrapped around his little finger once they get together. The sex is hot and plentiful after the first half of the book but also very loving. Throw in a crazy stalker and you've got a fun, romantic, sexy and exciting story." -- Lily, GLBT Bookshelf
